Job Summary

• The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and promoting the company’s security services.
• This role plays a vital part in driving revenue growth and expanding Headstone Security and Consultancy Limited's market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both public and private sectors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, SLA’s presentations, and tenders.
• Drive contract negotiations, oversee timelines, and secure deals in line with organizational objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor strategies.
• Collaborate with operations and security teams to design client-centric solutions.
• Maintain a database of leads, prospects, and client engagements.
• Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking functions.
• Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 – 2 years' experience in business development, preferably in the security or facility management sector.
• Proficiency in social media and marketing is considered an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong ability to analyse problems, develop effective strategies, and maintain keen attention to details.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
