    Business Development Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for driving growth and visibility of Emel Hospitals Ltd through effective marketing of hospital services and clinical specialties.
    • The officer will identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and promote the hospital’s facilities such as the ICU, HDU, Executive Wards, Theatre, Clinics, and other service units.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Promote all hospital services and specialties to HMOs, corporate and individual clients.
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase patient inflow and service utilization.
    • Conduct regular visits to organizations, HMOs, and referral sources to maintain strong partnerships.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and service areas.
    • Coordinate hospital outreach, campaigns, and health awareness programs.
    • Monitor market trends, competition, and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to package and communicate hospital services effectively.
    • Prepare and present weekly and monthly marketing performance reports.
    • Support digital marketing and branding initiatives to enhance visibility and reputation.
    • Represent the hospital professionally at external functions, health fairs, and corporate engagements.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • B.Sc. or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development.
    • Proven record of achieving marketing or business growth targets.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
    • Good knowledge of hospital operations and service lines (ICU, HDU, Theatre, etc.).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and basic digital marketing.
    • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
