    Business Development Manager

    YOU MUST RESIDE IN ONE OF THIS CITIES: ONITSHA, KADUNA, BENIN, NNEWI, ILORIN.

    Core to our mandate is our recognition that mobile financial technology is the new and future global path to sustainable wealth creation and development especially for financially excluded population in Africa. This inspired us to create WAYA, our mobile application that enable our clients’ access financial services through mobile devices seamlessly, in real time as well as enabling talk and chat at no cost to them. Now they can WAYA their money, their talks their chats because WAYA understands their needs.

    We are looking for a very strong and experienced business developer that has experience in Sales and marketing for our marketing and sales activities in those cities. The tasks are not limited to the following:

    • Develop and execute on a very solid go-to-market strategy
    • Manage and execute the sales strategies and plan
    • Develop plans for a massive customer acquisition
    • Identify, Form and execute strong partnerships with key potential partners, ambassadors, service providers, strategic alliances
    • Establish partners, agents and channels
    • Link between the market, sales, customers and the product development team
    • Manage key clients and partners
    • Implement key performance metrics, KPIs, tracking and monitoring tools and procedures
    • Implement and execute on brilliant marketing strategies …digital, media, traditional, events, etc
    • Sales and marketing - recruit marketers, train them and send to the field to market our product and services.
    • Implement and manage customer acquisition projects
    • Develop businesses in all cities where the company operates

    You:

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in business development or similar
    • Experience in financial technology/ financial industry / payments is an advantage
    • Minimum of bachelor degree
    • Expertise level on the use of IT technology, web, applications, ms office etc
    • Sales, marketing and business development experience
