    Principal Guard

    Description

    • Conduct regular inspections and patrols of premises to ensure safety and compliance.
    • Monitor property entrances, authorizing entry for personnel and vehicles as needed.
    • Identify and report suspicious behaviors or incidents promptly.
    • Secure all exits, doors, and windows to maintain the integrity of the property.
    • Oversee surveillance cameras, ensuring all areas are monitored effectively.
    • Respond swiftly to alarms and security incidents, implementing appropriate measures.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of SSCE certificate with thirty (30+) relevant years of experience in Industrial Security/Government Intelligence Agencies/Army Forces.
    • Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
    • Report writing experience with Critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skill.
    • Outstanding surveillance and observation skills.
    • Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense.

    Operator / Patroller (Production)

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for continuous inspection of the assigned section at production processes towards ensuring that all equipment functions effectively.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implement assigned field activities and provide feedback to the CCR team.
    • Ensure all processing equipment is cleaned regularly.
    • Liaise with CCR operators and Shift Managers for smooth and uninterrupted operations, so as to reduce downtime or breakdown.
    • Conduct an inspection of equipment in the assigned production section and document problems for immediate attention.
    • Report critical problems to CCR Operators, and/ or Shift Coordinators for immediate and prompt action.
    • Organize and participate fully in all cleaning activities in assigned sections.
    • Ensure timely execution of housekeeping activities within the assigned section.
    • Liaise with the Shift Coordinator and Section Heads to ensure production targets are achieved.

    Requirements

    • School Cert or its equivalent in any discipline.
    • Zero (0) to three (3) years of relevant work experience.
    • Basic knowledge of the cement production process
    • Basic knowledge of production equipment and functions.
    • Good understanding of basic material process flow line
    • Ability to pay attention to details
    • Good communication skills.

    Contracts Specialist

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for the contract management process, as well as development of specific standards for bidding, submission, contract negotiations and document management for the Group, unlisted subsidiaries and projects

    Key Duties & Responsibilities
    Contract Drafting and Review:

    • Draft and vet commercial agreements, including confidentiality, product supply agreements, material sourcing agreements, lease, memorandum of understanding, correspondence with customers, letter of intent, etc., response to tenders and RFPs and other documents pertaining to the Company’s business
    • Oversee organisational contract development and management activities, and enforce organisational principles of integrity and compliance.
    • Draft contractual provisions based on strategy discussions, senior management input, and organisational needs and expectations
    • Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal
    • Develop standards for contracts, including presentation of budget, payment terms, general language and provisions.

    Contract Management:

    • Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly entered into organisational databases and securely maintained
    • Manage the contract approval process to meet/exceed business cycle time requirements
    • Conduct contract strategy meetings to identify requirements, facilitate pricing discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables

    Negotiation and Liaison:

    • Serve as the primary organisational contact during contract negotiations
    • Engage relevant stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards and cost targets
    • Interface with insurance companies regarding adequacy of coverage and purchasing needs
    • Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues.

    Requirements

    • First Degree in Law
    • Current Nigerian bar membership
    • 5 – 7 years’ prior work experience in contract preparation in a large corporation
    • Experience in applying organisational standards when developing requests for proposals, negotiating terms and drafting contracts
    • Excellent communication, business presentation, negotiation, persuasion and analytical skills
    • Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing priorities
    • Able to work independently on standard tasks with a minimum amount of supervision, providing feedback that assists with the work of the team
    • Ability to systematically analyse complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions.

    Manager, Production

    Job Summary

    • The Manager, Production oversees all cement manufacturing operations to ensure optimal output, quality, and equipment efficiency while maintaining safety and cost targets.

    • Manage daily plant operations to achieve production and quality goals.

    Procurement Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Procurement Officer supports the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating the purchase of goods and services.
    • The role ensures compliance with Dangote Cement Plc’s procurement policies and contributes to efficient supply chain operations.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Identify and engage with qualified suppliers.
    • Request and follow up on quotations from multiple vendors.
    • Assist in evaluating offers and preparing comparative analysis.
    • Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) using SAP MM.
    • Coordinate approvals and dispatch of POs to suppliers.
    • Track delivery timelines and liaise with logistics and clearing teams.

    Key Requirements

    • B.Sc./HND in Business Management, Purchasing & Supply, or related field.

    Work Experience 

    • 2 – 9 years of relevant procurement experience.
    • Familiarity with SAP ERP (MM module) and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Good organizational and documentation abilities.
    • High ethical standards and attention to detail.
