    Business Development Manager

    Key Responsibilities
    Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to increase market share, revenue, and profitability.
    • Identify new business opportunities in local, regional, and international markets, focusing on corporate accounts, travel agents, event planners, and tour operators.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to proactively adjust sales strategies.

    Sales & Relationship Management:

    • Proactively prospect, qualify, and secure new business contracts for group bookings, corporate stays, conferences, and banquets.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key corporate clients and high-value decision-makers.
    • Conduct site inspections, sales calls, and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the hotel's unique selling propositions.

    Revenue Generation:

    • Work closely with the Revenue Manager to align pricing and inventory strategies with business development goals.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while maximizing hotel revenue.
    • Track and manage a sales pipeline using the hotel's CRM or property management system (PMS).

    Reporting & Collaboration:

    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, lost business, and market trends for the General Manager and executive team.
    • Collaborate effectively with the Front Office, Food & Beverage (F&B), and Marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of successful business development or senior sales experience, preferably within the hotel, hospitality, or travel industry.
    • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious sales targets and negotiating large-scale contracts.
    • Networking: An established network of corporate contacts, event organizers, or travel agencies is highly advantageous.
    • Communication: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.
    • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
