    Business Development Executive

    We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive the growth and performance of the Quickteller platform. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic partnerships, and enhancing user acquisition across digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the fintech landscape, a proven track record in platform or product management, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business outcomes.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business growth and expansion objectives.
    • Managing the Quickteller platform, to ensure all channels are run optimally whether through strategic partnerships and integration or improving the performance of all services on Quickteller.
    • Actively researching and identifying new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients/customers.
    • Proposes potential business deals by contacting potential strategic partners; and discovering and exploring opportunities with said partners to leverage their existing network/offerings.
    • Negotiating terms and agreements with clients, partners, and vendors to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
    • Oversee the integration of new technologies or features into existing channels.
    • Contribute to Interswitch’s evaluation strategy by ensuring Quickteller’s dominance in the consumer space.
    • Work with various internal groups to drive the profitability of Quickteller’s consumer business.
    • Develop capability around Quickteller including merchant management, service management, customer acquisition & retention, customer life cycle management, 3rd party management.
    • Identify and evaluate new channels that align with the overall business strategy.
    • Tracking and analyzing key performance metrics such as sales revenue, pipeline growth, conversion rates, and client retention.
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies in the fintech space and assess their potential impact on Quickteller.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute channel-specific marketing campaigns.
    • Promote awareness and usage of the Quickteller app through various channels.
    • Work closely with the product and design teams to enhance the user experience across all channels.
    • Implement improvements based on user feedback and market trends.
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners, including banks, financial institutions, and other third-party service providers.
    • Driving sales growth by acquiring new customers, upselling to existing clients, and expanding market reach.
    • Conducting thorough market analysis and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the market.
    • Creating persuasive proposals, presentations, and pitches to win new business opportunities. · Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, stakeholders, and industry contacts.

    • Forecasting sales targets and preparing regular reports on business development activities, progress, and results.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields
    • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or product/platform management within fintech or technology-driven environments
    • Strong background in managing consumer platforms and driving user growth across digital channels
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and customer acquisition initiatives
    • Proven ability to identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships to drive business expansion
    • Solid understanding of fintech trends, digital payment ecosystems, and emerging technologies
    • Experience working cross-functionally with product, design, marketing, and engineering teams
    • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth targets and optimizing platform performance
