Brand Marketing / Media Executive at Vitel Wireless Limited

Responsibilities:

• To oversee branding, advertising, design, and events promotion of the Vitel brand and other expectations as required by the Sales & Distribution division.
• To lead and manage a team of traditional and digital media marketers for the marketing and sales of Vitel products and services.
• Developing custom marketing and advertising strategies.
• Creating designs and layouts for media outlets.
• Writing pitches, blog posts and articles.
• Making decisions about the cost of branding and analyzing trends in customer spending.
• Building relationships with influencers, journalists, and media outlets.
• Overseeing social media accounts and ensure brand consistency.
• Conducting meetings with clients.
• Overseeing marketing staff.
• Coach and train team members to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets and requirements, and increased product knowledge, as well as identify developmental opportunities for team members.
• Work with other units/departments including sales to arrange promotions and local events that increase the presence and visibility of all products within the target market.

Requirements:

• A first degree (B.Sc. or HND) in any Social Science or related discipline
• Fluent in English

Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience including:
• Experience in previous marketing or brand positions.
• Experience in creative content creations.
• Experience in using social media tools.
• Telecoms experience would be an added advantage
