Barman at Yitro Guest House

Role Summary

• We are looking for a barman who is responsible for providing excellent beverage service, creating memorable guest experiences, and ensuring efficient bar operations.
• The ideal candidate must be personable, fast-paced, detail-oriented, and able to craft both classic and contemporary drinks while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Greet customers warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations when needed.
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked with spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage cash, process payments, and issue receipts accurately.
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Maintain inventory levels and report shortages or needs to management.
• Create a positive atmosphere by engaging customers professionally.
• Handle customer complaints or issues courteously and promptly.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE; hospitality training is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage preparation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good numeracy skills and basic cash-handling experience.
• Must be well-groomed, punctual, and reliable.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary
N40,000 - N50,000 per month.
