Auditor/Tax Accountant at Ken-Next Ventures Nigeria Limited

This is a full-time on-site role for an Auditor/Tax Accountant, located in Port-Harcourt.

The Auditor/Tax Accountant will be responsible for :

• Conducting thorough audits of financial records to ensure accuracy, integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to minimize financial risks and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Prepare and file accurate tax returns, ensuring adherence to all relevant tax regulations.
• Advise the organization on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize tax benefits.
• Collaborate with finance and management teams on financial reporting.
• Ensure that assets are protected and financial procedures comply with relevant policies and legislation.

Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Expertise in accounting standards and auditing procedures.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and high ethical standards for accuracy and confidentiality.
• Excellent written/ communication skills
• Experience in the oil and gas sector is a plus
• Professional certifications (e.g. ICAN,ACA,ACCA, CITN) are required.
