Audit Manager at Mazars

• As a key leader in our Audit & Assurance team, you’ll drive operational excellence, provide strategic insight, and promote innovation through data analytics and digital audit tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute end-to-end audit engagements within budget and deadlines.
•  Develop tailored audit strategies and perform risk assessments based on client-specific needs.
• Provide expert guidance on complex accounting issues and evolving regulatory frameworks.
• Review and approve financial statements, audit reports, and management letters.
• Serve as the lead contact for client executives; build trusted relationships and identify opportunities for value-added services.
• Monitor engagement performance, profitability, and adherence to internal quality standards.
• Mentor and develop audit seniors and associates, contributing to talent development and succession planning.
• Promote innovation by integrating digital audit tools and data analytics.
• Collaborate with partners and directors on business development, proposals, and thought leadership.
• Ensure timely archiving of audit documentation and full compliance with firm policies and standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or HND (Upper Credit) in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits (including Mathematics and English) in one sitting.
• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (mandatory).
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive audit experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, GAAP, and regulatory reporting standards.
• Proven leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive team performance, innovation, and strategic alignment with firm values.
