Assistant Store Keeper at Golden Oil Industries Limited

The Assistant Store Keeper supports the efficient operation of the store/warehouse by assisting in receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of materials, tools, spare parts, and consumables. The role ensures proper stock control, cleanliness, safety, and timely availability of items to support operations.

Job Details

• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of items according to store procedures.
• Issue materials to authorized personnel based on approved requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory registers (manual or system-based).
• Support periodic stock counts, audits, and reconciliation of variances.
• Monitor stock levels and report low or excess inventory to the Store Keeper.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and quality standards within the store.
• Assist in preventing loss, damage, or pilferage of store items.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and other departments as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Store Keeper or Management.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND / HND / SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in storekeeping or warehouse operations (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
