    People's Head

    Role Summary

    • The People's Manager owns GoCaby's people function end-to-end — hiring, onboarding, performance, engagement, and HR operations.
    • You build the systems and culture that let a fast-growing team scale without breaking, and you act as a trusted partner to both leadership and staff.
    • This role suits someone who is equally strong on people (empathy, culture, coaching) and on process (policy, compliance, HR systems).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own the full recruitment cycle: job posting, sourcing, screening, coordinating the scenario-survey stage, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
    • Build and run onboarding so new hires are productive and engaged quickly.
    • Design and manage the performance framework: goal-setting, KPI tracking, check-ins/1-on-1s, and reviews.
    • Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives across teams.
    • Develop and maintain HR policies, the employee handbook, and ensure compliance with Nigerian labour law.
    • Manage HR operations: contracts, records, leave, attendance, and payroll inputs (in coordination with Finance).
    • Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters fairly and professionally.
    • Support workforce planning and organisational design as the company scales.
    • Track and report people metrics (headcount, attrition, time-to-hire, engagement) to leadership.
    • Champion GoCaby's values and maintain a high-performance, people-first culture.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years in HR/people management, ideally including recruitment and HR operations.
    • Solid knowledge of Nigerian labour law and HR best practices.
    • Proven experience building or running hiring, onboarding, and performance processes.
    • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills, with sound judgment and discretion.
    • Comfort with HR systems and data; able to track and report people metrics.

    Nice to have:

    • HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or similar).
    • Experience scaling teams in a startup or high-growth environment.
    • Familiarity with ERPNext HR/Payroll or similar HRIS.

    Success metrics (first 6 months):

    • Time-to-hire, quality-of-hire and offer-acceptance rate, onboarding completion, attrition/retention, engagement scores, and HR policy/compliance readiness.

    Inventory & Finance Officer

    Role Summary

    • The Inventory & Finance Officer keeps GoCaby's numbers tight and its assets accountable.
    • You bridge inventory control and financial discipline — tracking stock and assets, reconciling records, managing invoices and expenses, and producing clear, decision-ready financial reports as the business scales.
    • This role demands accuracy, integrity, and the discipline to keep records clean in a fast-moving environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Track and manage inventory and company assets (spare parts, equipment, fleet-related stock); maintain accurate records and stock levels.
    • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical counts against system records; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable: process invoices, verify against purchase orders, and track payments.
    • Record and monitor daily expenses; flag anomalies and enforce budget discipline.
    • Perform monthly reconciliations (cash, bank, inventory) and resolve variances.
    • Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate, timely data.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for leadership, including spend, burn, and inventory summaries.
    • Maintain proper documentation and controls to support audits and reduce fraud/leakage risk.
    • Liaise with vendors and internal teams on procurement, payments, and stock replenishment.

    Requirements

    • Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ICAN/ACCA in view is a plus).
    • 2+ years in finance, accounting, inventory, or a combined role.
    • Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills and comfort with accounting or ERP software (ERPNext experience is a strong advantage).
    • High accuracy with numbers and strong attention to detail.
    • Integrity and discipline in record-keeping and handling company funds.

    Nice to have:

    • Experience with ERPNext or similar ERP inventory/accounting modules.
    • Background in logistics, e-commerce, or a startup finance function.

    Sales & Account Manager

    Role Summary

    • The Sales & Account Manager drives revenue and owns key relationships. You bring in new B2B and partner business, grow and retain existing accounts, and represent GoCaby as we expand across Nigeria and Africa.
    • This is a target-driven role for a strong closer who can also nurture long-term partnerships in mobility and logistics.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients (businesses, merchants, and logistics partners) to grow delivery volume and revenue.
    • Own and grow a portfolio of key accounts; build long-term relationships and maximize retention and lifetime value.
    • Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and acquisition targets.
    • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, negotiation, closing, and onboarding.
    • Negotiate pricing and contracts that win business while protecting margin and unit economics.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts; resolve issues quickly and recover at-risk relationships.
    • Gather market and competitor intelligence and feed it back to leadership.
    • Support entry into new cities/markets by building the initial customer base.
    • Maintain an accurate pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.

    Requirements

    • 2+ years in sales, business development, or account management (B2B preferred).
    • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with cold outreach and closing.
    • Good commercial judgment and understanding of pricing/margin trade-offs.

    Nice to have:

    • Existing network in logistics, retail, e-commerce, or FMCG.
    • Experience selling in mobility/logistics or a high-growth startup.
    • CRM proficiency (pipeline management and reporting).

    Success metrics (first 6 months):

    • New clients acquired, revenue/GMV generated, account retention rate, pipeline health, and quota attainment.

    • You own the day-to-day of the office — facilities, supplies, records, vendors, and front-desk coordination — and provide administrative support across departments.
    • This is a highly organised, dependable role for someone who takes ownership of the details and keeps things orderly in a fast-moving startup.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage day-to-day office operations: facilities, utilities, cleanliness, supplies, and a functional work environment.
    • Track and replenish office inventory and consumables; manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
    • Handle front-desk duties: receive visitors, calls, and deliveries, and direct them appropriately.
    • Maintain organized physical and digital records, files, and documentation.
    • Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, and company events (scheduling, venues, refreshments).
    • Support procurement of office items and equipment; track requests, purchases, and receipts for finance.
    • Assist departments with general administrative tasks and correspondence.
    • Ensure compliance with basic health, safety, and office policies.

    Customer Representative

    Role Summary

    • The Customer Representative is the voice of GoCaby — the first point of contact for customers, riders, and partners.
    • You resolve issues quickly and professionally, keep people moving, and protect the GoCaby experience through every interaction.
    • Great candidates stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and turn frustrated users into loyal ones.

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Handle inbound and outbound contact across calls, chat, email, and social channels in a timely, professional manner.
    • Resolve customer complaints and delivery issues, escalating complex cases to the right team with full context.
    • Act as liaison between customers, riders, and the operations team to resolve disputes (e.g. delivery confirmation, delays, wrong items).
    • Track and follow up on open issues until they are fully resolved; keep customers informed at every step.
    • Maintain accurate records of interactions, complaints, and resolutions in the support system.
    • Monitor and help improve customer satisfaction (CSAT), first-response time, and resolution time.
    • Identify recurring problems and feed insights back to Operations and Product to prevent repeat issues.
    • Uphold GoCaby's tone and service standards in every interaction, including with difficult customers.

    Requirements

    • 1+ year in customer service, support, or a client-facing role (mobility, logistics, or tech preferred).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
    • Strong patience, empathy, and composure under pressure.
    • Good attention to detail and the ability to multitask across several conversations at once.
    • Comfortable using support tools, live chat, and basic CRM/ticketing systems.

    Nice to have:

    • Experience in a delivery, ride-hailing, or e-commerce support team.
    • Additional Nigerian languages (e.g. Yoruba, Hausa).
