    Science Teacher

    Description

    • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher to join our team.
    • The ideal candidate must be passionate about teaching, possess strong classroom management skills, and be committed to supporting pupils' academic and moral development.

    Responsibilities
    Teaching and Learning:

    • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the curriculum.
    • Prepare weekly lesson notes before and assessment materials.
    • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
    • Integrate ICT skills into teaching.
    • Monitor individual pupil progress and provide support where necessary.

    Classroom Management:

    • Maintain an orderly, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
    • Establish and enforce clear rules, routines, and expectations for pupils.
    • Ensure pupils' safety and proper supervision during class and school activities.

    Assessment and Record-Keeping:

    • Conduct continuous assessments and end of term exams.
    • Provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents.

    Communication:

    • Communicate professionally and promptly with parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
    • Participate in parent-teacher-pupil conference.
    • Provide updates on pupils' behaviour, performance, and welfare.

    Professional Conduct:

    • Demonstrate punctuality, responsibility, and a positive workattitude.
    • Participate in training, workshops, and staff meetings.
    • Uphold the school's values, policies, and code of conduct.

    Qualifications

    • Interested candidates should possess an NCE / Bachelor`s Degree with 3 years experience.

    Human Resource and Admin Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Acting as a strategic partner in ensuring the right talents are available and are aligned with the school's goals
    • Spearheading staff recruitment, selection, and onboarding orientation
    • Managing the school's performance management system, monitoring KPIs attainment
    • Benefits administration and management; pensions, HMO, and Allowances
    • Responding to daily HR inquiries and providing required support
    • Organizing staff social events
    • Liaising with vendors, contractors and artisans; negotiating the best rates for school purchases
    • General oversight for the Admin and Support teams for optimum performance
    • Providing all-round administrative support to the academic team in the delivery of teaching and learning

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree (minimum)
    • Previous experience as School HR
    • HR Certification
    • Creativity
    • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
