    Assessment & Facility Maintenance Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    Maintenance Planning & Execution

    • Ensure timely service and repairs to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
    • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all equipment, including but not limited to
    • Earthmoving Equipment – Swamp buggies, excavators, bulldozers, loaders.
    • Lifting Equipment – Cranes (mobile, crawler, tower), forklifts.
    • Fabrication & Welding Equipment – Welding machines, generators, compressors.
    • Pipeline & Construction Equipment – Pumps, hydraulic tools, cutting machines.

    Equipment & Facility Management

    • Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of all company-owned machinery and tools.
    • Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions when inefficiencies are detected.
    • Ensure compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) recommendations and regulatory safety standards.

    Team Leadership & Supervision

    • Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and mechanics.
    • Provide training to ensure proper handling, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.

    Safety & Compliance

    • Enforce strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies in all maintenance operations.
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety procedures for equipment use and maintenance.

    Budgeting & Cost Control

    • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement of spare parts and consumables.
    • Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock of critical spare parts.

    Vendor & Contractor Management

    • Work with external service providers for major equipment repairs, overhauls, and procurement.
    • Negotiate service contracts and ensure quality standards are met.

    Reporting & Documentation

    • Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, and equipment performance.
    • Prepare reports for senior management on equipment utilization, maintenance costs, and reliability.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
    • 7-10 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in EPCIC, oil & gas, or heavy construction.
    • Strong knowledge of earthmoving equipment, lifting equipment, fabrication tools, and industrial maintenance techniques.
