Role Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development & Programme Manager to lead revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and high-impact programme delivery across the organisation. The role sits at the intersection of partnerships, training programmes, innovation projects, and institutional collaborations.
The successful candidate will drive sustainability through income-generating programmes, corporate and donor partnerships, and scalable talent-development initiatives aligned with company’s strategic priorities for the year — including expansion of training cohorts, enterprise support programmes, institutional partnerships, and technology-driven innovation projects.
This role requires a professional who can convert opportunities into structured programmes, funding streams, and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify, develop, and close partnerships with corporates, institutions, government agencies, and development organisations.
- Design and implement strategies to grow Kodex’s revenue through training programmes, sponsored cohorts, consulting, and innovation services.
- Prepare and submit proposals, concept notes, and partnership decks.
- Build a strong pipeline of sponsors, clients, and collaborators.
- Lead negotiations and manage partnership agreements and deliverables.
Programme Design & Management
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all training, innovation, and capacity-building programmes.
- Translate organisational strategy into structured programmes with clear outputs and outcomes.
- Ensure timely execution of cohorts, bootcamps, workshops, and enterprise programmes.
- Develop programme frameworks, work plans, and delivery schedules.
- Track programme performance, learning outcomes, and impact metrics.
Strategic Project Implementation
- Drive execution of priority initiatives identified during the year’s strategic planning sessions.
- Support expansion into new programme areas, locations, and partnership channels.
- Lead pilot projects and new programme rollouts.
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure readiness for programme delivery.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
- Serve as the primary liaison for programme partners and sponsors.
- Maintain strong relationships with ecosystem players, funders, and institutional stakeholders.
- Ensure partner expectations, reporting, and deliverables are met.
- Represent Kodex at meetings, events, and ecosystem engagements.
Monitoring, Reporting & Impact Tracking
- Track programme outcomes against targets and projected achievements.
- Prepare periodic reports for management and partners.
- Monitor revenue performance against projections.
- Maintain programme and partnership documentation.
Team Coordination
- Work closely with the Operations Lead, instructors, and administrative teams.
- Supervise programme officers, facilitators, and volunteers where required.
Ensure smooth coordination between training delivery, partnerships, and operations.
