PYXERA Global Africa is a startup for many reasons. We have worked in West Africa for several years bringing global talent to support the African social sector. Through that we have worked with several companies to create groundbreaking partnerships between the public, private, and social sectors, leveraging the unique attributes of each to create shared value and innovative solutions to complex challenges. Our initiatives include a wide range of methodologies including enterprise development, skills-based employee engagement and designing impactful corporate social responsibility strategies, and community partnership efforts that transform lives and livelihoods. We work across a variety of thematic social areas including circular economy and inclusive circular cities, equity in healthcare, education, agriculture, small business growth, and bridging the digital divide, among others.

Requirements
Here is a list of things that we are looking for in you, and if you feel right – send us your profile
Minimum of 10 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of at least one specific technical area related to PYXERA Global’s programs and services (pro bono, community development, corporate social impact, nonprofit management, enterprise development, leadership development, circular economy, finance, education, skills gap, global health, etc.).
A graduate or higher degree - M.Sc/MA/MBA in social sciences or equivalent from reputable universities in the region and/or Internationally
Proven experience in business development, sales, fundraising
Proven experience in change management
Strategic leader with the ability to manage large teams and effectively motivate staff
Knowledge of current thinking on development issues and methods; and demonstrable ability to anticipate emerging opportunities and develop them into potential clients and projects
Excellent customer service, partnership creation and management skills a must
A high degree of political savviness (in an organizational and business context)
Expertise in developing and managing organizational budgets
Significant experience in securing speaking opportunities and presenting to various audiences (exceptional public speaking skills)
Ability to pragmatically solve problems, plan a course of action using analytical, conceptual, strategic and forward-thinking abilities to achieve an effective resolution.
Ability to recognize, react and adjust to rapidly changing conditions and to lead the resources in an appropriate direction with cohesiveness and a sense of urgency
Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and cross-cultural skills including the ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally with sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, social and political issues.
Coalition building capabilities, external networking, and experience in developing strategic partnerships
Ability to effectively lead and build a team, communicate a vision, make timely and transparent decisions, solve problems, and manage conflict
Fluency in English – Excellent communications skills, both oral and written. French would be an added advantage
Embodies an entrepreneurial spirit and experience in building sustainable entities
Ideally a native of one of the countries in West Africa and has lived, worked for the last several years in the region.
