We looking for a Development Project Manager / Scrum Master to join our Development team. As an Agile Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of ongoing software development projects in a controlled, predictable, and timely manner.

Besides overseeing project delivery, you will use your excellent interpersonal skills to engage with developers and UI/UX designers and manage ongoing communications to ensure all stakeholders are informed appropriately. As a Scrum Master, you will ensure that Scrum principles are understood and implemented.

This role involves collaborating closely with the Chief Technical Officer, who has ownership of developer and product resources. Therefore, we want to hire a medium-level, skilled and experienced candidate to fill the role.

What does your day-to-day look like?

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to curate, prioritise, and define a product backlog.
• Determine and define clear deliverables and success criteria for all Jira issues.
• Develop schedules and timelines for the delivery of features.
• Responsible for the definition, documentation, and successful completion of the product lifecycle.
• Prepare and compile project & release reports.
• Present project status in stakeholder meetings.
• Measure and report project performance to stakeholders
• Manage stakeholder expectations and implement required changes where needed.
• Manage project resources and their performance.
• Lead Agile ceremonies (All scrum events).
• Foster and advance the level of Agile scrum expertise within the workflow
• Keep yourself updated on the latest industry trends, optimal techniques and become a knowledgeable authority in the team.

Must Have

• 2+ years’ experience working as an Agile Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Product Owner.
• Proven experience working cross-functionally in an organisation managing multiple projects.
• Solid understanding of Agile Scrum principles, events and artifacts.
• Excellent analytical and strategic-planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-learner and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to drive results with a sense of urgency.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment requiring resilience.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and “sell” feature functionality goals and objectives to stakeholders.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Experienced in the delivery of projects in an agile environment
• Experienced Scrum Master with experience in other project frameworks of Kanban.
• Enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated with a focus on product quality.
• Able to work independently, excellent personal organisation and able to demonstrate consistently balanced good judgement and logical thought prioritisation.

• Experience in the use of tools and techniques to facilitate effective project delivery exposure or awareness of all phases of software development projects, including analysis, systems design, development and testing approaches.

Key Responsibilities to get started:

• Leading change projects from idea to implementation, delivering to agreed scope within an Agile environment.
• Assigning tasks to the development team members and properly populating tickets on Jira.
• Experience working in an agile team and facilitating various scrum ceremonies such as Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospective, and Sprint Review.
• A natural leader who can collaborate across the project and program and help other colleagues to develop.
• .Manage project implementation time frames and overall project plan, including deliverables, testing, and implementation support.
• Communicate with the stakeholders to determine specific requirements and expectations.
• Ensure compliance and create quality assurance principles and document management within the Services delivery team.
• Take on project supervisory responsibility, provide mentorship, and be an agile coach to the entire project team.
• Manage projects using Agile project management methodology and procedures.
• Provide weekly updates on project health, progress, and potential risks.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Proficiency in configuring JIRA workflows.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum/ waterfall methodologies.
• Significant project management experience in managing large implementation/software development projects.
• Ability to break down complex epics into user stories for developers to work on.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Has knowledge and skill level of applicable software tools and processes
• In-depth understanding of product features and the general impact of changes in the business environment and industry trends.
• An ability to understand and anticipate the client’s needs and provide consultancy as required.
• Specialized project management skills to plan, monitor and track projects to meet the target KPIs.
• Ability to prioritize effectively within and across one or more assignments through good judgement, seeking guidance where appropriate.
• Responsible for professional conduct, fostering relationships, communicating effectively, supporting colleagues and collaborating on solutions.
