Job Summary

• The Accounting Advisor uses professional concepts to resolve routine accounting entry issues within a limited scope.
• Performs monthly accounting close activities focused on less risky countries, under direction of more senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Non-Standard Deal Review.
• Month End Close
  • Prepares basic preparation of post journal entries with guidance from senior Accounting staff
  • Preforms flux analysis under direction of more senior staff
  • Supports reconciliation preparation with guidance from senior Accounting  staff
  • Assists with SOX controls
  • Prepares PBC preparation within a limited scope.
• Disclosures and External Reporting: Supports in preparing any additional regional disclosures needed for SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission) reporting.
• Management Reporting: Prepares basic month end management reporting within a limited scope.
• Business Partnering: Partners with upstream data owners, internal and external auditors, and Global Process Manager to solve basic accounting matters.
• Process Improvement: As needed, may participate in routine project work.
• Technical Accounting: Understands general accounting principals when accounting for transactions.

Qualifications 

• Proven years experience preferred.
