Job Description

• The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the organization in making informed financial decisions.
• This role involves overseeing accounting operations, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insights into financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Recordkeeping – Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable – Process invoices, manage payments, and track incoming revenue.
• Bank Reconciliation – Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy.
• Budgeting & Forecasting – Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Financial Reporting – Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Tax Compliance – Ensure timely submission of tax filings and adherence to statutory regulations.
• Internal Controls – Monitor internal financial controls to prevent errors and fraud.
• Audit Support – Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary financial documentation
• Expense Monitoring – Track company expenses and recommend cost-saving measures
• Collaboration – Work closely with management and other departments to support financial decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
