• The ideal candidate is responsible for the coordination and execution of account reconciliations, budget compilation, accounts payable function, tax regulation, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger by processing all company invoices, payments, and purchases
• Review and verify accuracy of financial and contract paperwork and processes
• Summarize and prepare financial records and statements for external reporting
• Manage tax matters and liaise with FIRS and other regulatory bodies.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Accounting
• 3+ years' accounting experience
• Highly organized with excellent attention to details
• proficiency in accounting software
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, FIRS interactions and regulatory compliance.
