Dev Ops Engineer at Greenwood Limited

Our Client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that support our financial services platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement Infrastructure: Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions to support our financial services platform.
• Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Manage and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
• Monitor and Troubleshoot: Monitor and troubleshoot production environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with Development Teams: Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices and tools.
• Ensure Security and Compliance: Ensure that all infrastructure and software solutions meet security and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• DevOps Experience: Proven experience in DevOps, with a strong background in infrastructure management, cloud computing, and automation.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in tools such as AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash.
• Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.

Nice to Have:

• Financial Services Experience: Experience working in the financial services industry, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Scrum Master.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies: Experience working with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
