Accountant at British Community Hospital and Outpatient Clinics - BCHOC

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
• Monitor and reconcile daily revenue generated from all hospital departments
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management
• Ensure all cash collections are properly documented and deposited within approved timelines
• Monitor expenditures and support budget tracking
• Assist with payroll preparation and financial reporting
• Support implementation of strong financial accountability systems

Requirements:

• Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Professional accounting certification is required (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN, or equivalent)
• Relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is an advantage
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
