The Role

This role is exciting, positively challenging, and will provide growth to the prospective role holder.

The ideal role holder is a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant who has expertise in managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy across all accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial management, reconciliation, inventory tracking, and financial analysis while also establishing and improving accounting processes. He/she must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to develop structures that support efficient financial operations.

What you will be doing

These include, but are not limited to:  

• Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Track and manage inventory records, ensuring proper valuation and reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses to support management decision-making.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and proper financial documentation.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Support audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support end-to-end supply chain activities with financial management and resource optimization.
• Other related tasks as assigned.

What you need to succeed

• 3+ years of hands-on Finance experience
• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
• A member of a professional body, e.g., ACA, ACCA, is a plus.
• Proven knowledge in financial reporting, financial analysis & inventory management, financial software, Microsoft suite, and statistical analysis package
• Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills
• Highly confidential with good integrity
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and result-oriented environment
• Ability to work in a team and multitask
• Client relationship and engagement skills
