Account Officer at Arit of Africa Limited

Requirements

• Ensure the suppliers invoice file are properly kept and all  PO’s are properly filed and reconciled with sales invoices 
• Provision of timely and accurate information on request (Payables / due cheques /cheques issued and outstanding liabilities
• Payment processing to suppliers on or before due dates 
• Raising  purchase order on QuickBooks within 24 hours of when signed by BSL and internal control manager when received from BSL team. -
• Preparation of Lead schedules for Statutory audits
•  Ensure payment vouchers are properly narrated and all supporting       documents properly attached
• ·Ensure bank reconciliation concluded and statement concluded as at the last day of the month
• Receiving inventory and billing suppliers account on confirmation that item has been delivered by the supplier to us. 
•  Liaising and interfacing with external clients as it relates to supplier's invoices. 
•  Ensure Asset file and register are properly kept
•  Monthly reconciliation of stock items with BSL team (stock taking exercise)
•   Real-time postings of payment vouchers on quickbooks
• Sending approved dollar rates to BDSM and other users on a daily basis on or before 9a.m on a daily basis
