Job Summary

• A Data Analyst in a GIS and Drone company is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing both spatial and non-spatial data to support mapping, surveying, and decision-making.
• The role involves transforming raw data from drones, surveys, and satellite imagery into meaningful insights that support industries like agriculture, oil & gas, telecom, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and clean data from drone surveys, GIS systems, and field operations
• Analyze geospatial and business data to identify trends and patterns
• Interpret aerial imagery and mapping data for actionable insights
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations (charts, maps, graphs)
• Work with GIS Analysts and Drone Operators to integrate spatial data
• Manage and maintain databases (spatial and non-spatial)
• Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Geography, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or R)
• Familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) is an advantage
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Understanding of geospatial data is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
