Account Officer at Animal Care Services Consult

Responsibilities

• Plan and assess all accounting procedures and policies to ensure accurate and complete transaction recording.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, accounts receivable, and payable balances monthly.
• Prepare year-end schedules for audit purposes.
• Recommend improvements to the company’s accounting processes.
• Prepare payment vouchers and accurately code all transactions.
• Process expense payments.
• Reconcile advances, review receipts, and code expenses in the general ledger, ensuring proper entry into the Oracle system.
• Maintain organized accounting records and files.
• Track and follow up on outstanding advances to ensure timely reconciliation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• HND / B.Sc. Degree in Accounting with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Professional membership in ICAN is an added advantage.
• Must be between 25-35 years old.
• Open to both male and female candidates
