Job Description

• Installation: Install new air conditioning systems, including ductwork, wiring, and components such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators. Ensure installations comply with building codes and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance inspections of air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance. This includes cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, lubricating moving parts, and replacing worn-out components.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues with air conditioning systems by inspecting components, testing electrical circuits, and analyzing system performance. Identify the root cause of malfunctions and propose appropriate repair solutions.
• Repair: Perform repairs on air conditioning systems, such as replacing defective parts, fixing leaks, and repairing electrical connections. Use specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Refrigerant Handling: Handle refrigerants according to environmental regulations and safety standards. Recover, recycle, or recharge refrigerant as needed during maintenance and repair tasks.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 2+ years relevant work experience.
