    Abuja Branch Head

    Reports To: Chief Operating Officer  

    The Nigeria Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb) is the premier arbitration institute in Nigeria founded in 1979 under the leadership of former Attorney General of Nigeria and former judge of the World Court at The Hague, Judge Bola Ajibola, SAN, KBE and duly incorporated in 1988 under the Companies Act as a legal entity Limited by Guarantee.

     JOB DESCRIPTION 

    1. Build strategic relationships for the institute in Abuja 
    2. Grow brand awareness in Abuja & Northern Nigeria working with local media e.g. television, radio, social media influencers etc. 
    3. Organise courtesy visits to key personalities & institutions in FCT and environs 
    4. Coordinate membership relations & activities in Abuja & environs 
    5. Grow membership of the institute at corporate, retail & tertiary institutions level in Abuja & environs 
    6. Assist in creation and growth of new state chapters in the north 
    7. Act as head of protocol for the Presidents & Chairman of Council on his official trips to Abuja 
    8. Arrange logistics for the visit of President & Chairman of Council, Council members on official trip as well as the Registrar/CEO. 
    9. Ensure quality and satisfactory membership service delivery in Abuja & environs 
    10. Market the institute ‘s training services 
    11. Working with the training department, organise and supervise training delivery in Abuja and environs 
    12. Oversee the office operations as the head of the branch. 

    EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS. 

    1. First degree in Business, Social Sciences or Law, a master’s degree and relevant professional qualifications in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Marketing will give added advantage but not mandatory. 

    EXPERIENCE.

    1. 10 years’ experience in professional institute or membership organization handling branch operations with background in marketing and business development or alternative dispute resolution.
