    Compensation & Benefits Manager

    Description:

    A mining company situated in Abuja is seeking to hire a Performance Manager.

    The Job description is as follows:

    • Manage, lead and develop the Compensation and Benefit team.
    • Manage the client's payroll and other client companies’ payroll as per approved service request and SLA.
    • Design, analyze and develop marked to market compensation package that will keep the client ahead of the curve.
    • Responsible for under the guidance of the HOD, Human Capital Management, carry out periodic salary survey within and outside the mining industry to ensure that management is abreast of compensation and benefits trends.
    • Administer benefit packages in line with policy and Nigeria Law.
    • Design the basic compensation structures in the organization (grading system, job evaluation system, promotion policy, etc.), in alignment with their culture and the corporate values.
    • Coordinate compensation processes like the salary planning, bonus planning, and incentive schemes development.
    • Advise management of client companies on the best in class compensation and benefits packages for the appropriate industrial sector.
    • Train HR Business Partners, Line managers and Company Representatives in the compensation area (pay-mix training, etc.)
    • Liaison between benefit providers and employees to resolve issues and/or answer questions.

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • Must have a B.Sc/HND in any discipline
    • M.Sc an added advantage
    • CIPM/CIPD Certification an added advantage
    • Must have a minimum of 6 years relevant experience
    • Must reside in Abuja or its environs
    • Ability to pay attention to details
    • Must possess good analytical skills
