    Principal Town Planning Officer - GL.12

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Taking charge of a section
    • Coordinating training and planning research programme
    • Taking charge of specified subjects
    • Ensuring master plans, structure plans, layouts, building plans and other development plans confirm to approved standard
    • Liaising between the Local Government and the Chief Town Planning Officers of the States
    • Initiating and executing staff development programmes for the section

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc/ HND in Urban and Regional Planning/ Town Planning with at least 5 years cognate working experience.

    Important Notice

    • Candidates must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion where applicable.
    • Membership of Professional bodies would be an additional advantage.
    • Candidates who are awaiting result will not be considered and need not to apply.

    Remuneration
    Salaries, allowances and other conditions of service would be as approved by the Kaduna State Government.
