Account Officer at Hausba Smarthomes Limited

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Liaising with clients (individuals or businesses) and providing financial information and advice.
• Responsible for all bank transactions; receiving and making payments.
• Tracks customer payments and ensure effective records of such payments.
• Prepares project evaluations and communicates accounts statements to customer as at when due.
• Responsible for accounts receivables and receiving payments owed to the organistion.
• Creates invoices and receipts and other required documents for operational purposes and for due process.
• Records consistently all financial transactions and sends in management reports when due,
• Performing tests to check financial information and systems.
• Maintaining accounting records and preparing accounts and management information
