    ICT Officer

    Details:

    ICT Equipment

    • Install, troubleshoot, repair, update and maintain workstations and laptops.
    • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot printers/photocopier as well as manage toner requests.
    • Configure and deploy new and refurbished workstations, laptops and peripheral equipment.
    • Install and configure peripherals including scanners, external drives, monitors and other peripheral hardware.
    • Removal/disposal of non-functional equipment.

     Software Management

    • Provide software and system troubleshooting and support.
    • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and update operating systems and user applications.
    • Proactively schedule software upgrades and patching.
    • In case of virus infection clean out affected equipment.
    • Maintain backup systems.

    Network and Internet Connectivity

    • Monitor network to ensure network functionality and availability to all system users.
    • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cabled, wireless and other network infrastructure.
    • Support and administer access rights for all users in the office.
    • Ensure internet subscription is paid as at when due and no internet downtime.

    Website, E-mails and Social Media Management

    • Troubleshoot, and repair user accounts and email accounts, assist in resetting passwords.
    • To be an administrator on the company’s website, emails, managing content and maintaining web design.
    • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
    • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
    • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
    • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase visibility of company’s social content.

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • Strong organization skills
    • Ability to gather market intelligence and communicate these opportunities to management.
    • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Adequate Knowledge of web design.
    • Strong Hardware and software management skills.
    • Ability to work without supervision.
    • Must be analytical.
