Role Summary
The Program Volunteer will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of ACF’s programmes and projects. The role offers hands-on experience in development programming and community-based interventions, particularly in gender, livelihood & economic empowerment, SRHR, education, and climate justice.
Key Responsibilities
- Support programme planning and implementation activities.
- Assist with organizing trainings, workshops, meetings, and field activities.
- Support data collection, documentation, and activity reporting.
- Assist in liaising with community stakeholders and partners.
- Support monitoring of ongoing activities and follow-up actions.
- Contribute to documentation of lessons learned and success stories.
- Perform other programme-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, Education, or a related field.
- Strong interest in development, humanitarian, and gender-focused work.
- Basic knowledge and ability to use computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite, is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team.
- Basic report writing and documentation skills.
- Willingness to adhere to strict organizational policies and work schedule.

Volunteer Engagement Terms
- This is a full-time voluntary, non-salaried position.
- Selected volunteers will receive orientation, mentorship, and practical work experience.
- Subject to availability of funds, selected volunteers will receive a meagre monthly stipend to support cost of daily transportation to work.
- Volunteers will be provided with recommendation letters upon successful completion of the volunteering period, subject to performance.
