Mine Foreman (Tin - Zinc / Open pit / Hydrology / Trenching / Drilling and Blasting) at CA Global

Job Description:  
A top mining company with operations in West Africa is actively seeking a Mine Manger to join their ever growing team.
 
Responsibilities:

• Manage all mining, Hydrological and processing activities
• Ensure production of 500TPD average
• Work half of the time at site, not an office job
• Successful candidate must have good organizational skills and a proactive leader with communication & team building skills
• Good understanding of Geotechnical parameters and working in wet environments
• Includes rain water diversion, trenching so as to lead the water to main sump
• Drilling & blasting in wet holes, planning on use of ANFO max, drilling patterns, knowledge in firing sequence
• Experience in Open pit operation in wet conditions  
• Take appropriate measures  to prevent Pit Slope failure in Soft ground condition
• Continue with plans to convert the abandoned Underground mine to open pit

Requirements / Qualifications:

• B.E. (Mining Engineering)
• First or Second Class Mine Managers’ Certificate
• 8+ years of experience in operating open pit mines (Metalliferous)

• Residential based - Single Status (3 Weeks leave every 6 months)
