    CSR Project Manager

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Development: Work with external agency to develop and maintain detailed proposals for Corporate Social Responsibility strategy
    • Delivery: Manage and co-ordinate the delivery of the programme, including target setting, governance, audit and reporting
    • Work with the communications team to ensure effective internal and external communications of CSR activity, including stakeholder engagement in shaping the strategy
    • Influence senior management and key departments to secure ongoing commitment to the approach
    • Liaise with shareholders to establish consistency of CSR approach and ensuring benefits are realized
    • Co-coordinating  volunteer  activities  and  events,  drumming  up  support  and  persuading  employee participation
    • Negotiating and overseeing sponsorship deals and other educational or environmental partnerships
    • Measuring the uptake and outcomes of CSR campaigns
    • Looking at investments making sure they are socially and ethically responsible
    • Working in partnership with community groups

    Working Knowledge, Skills and Competencies and Attributes

    • A track record of success and achievement demonstrated within relevant CSR roles at a senior level.  If not the owner of CSR strategy, you must be able to evidence significant input into the strategy and responsibility for the delivery of a comprehensive CSR programme.
    • Strong delivery focus with proven experience of managing complex projects successfully in a busy business environment.
    • Influential and engaging – inspires others by developing credible strategies, and demonstrating high levels of personal impact and credibility.
    • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
    • Diplomatic – able to see what’s important to different parties and to challenge in a positive manner.
    • Demonstrates learning agility, strong thinking and analytical skills.  Ability to get up to speed with new processes/procedures and able to adapt readily to change

    Qualifications and Experience

    • University Graduate
    • 6 - 8 years progressively responsible experience in CSR Project management
