DC Trainee Manager at Fempower Recruitment Excellence

A South African based company, wholesaler/distributor of fruit and vegetable products, has Trainee management opportunities for candidates who have: a relevant tertiary qualification, some commercial work experience with traceable references and a general level of computer competence.

Successful candidates must also be fluent in English, have a valid drivers’ licence and Passport. Experience and product knowledge of fresh produce will be a definite advantage. 

• Learn and understand the daily processes associated with picking, packing, and shipping orders
• Learn and understand the technology used in the Distribution Center that supports the needs of the business
• Learn and understand the basic management skills, including talent management, that are required to perform effectively in the role
• Lead special projects and provide work direction and supervision over the associates involved in the project.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the Management Trainees job responsibilities.

An Agricultural degree  or preferably a graduate  that has a mixture of a logistics, agriculture and finance degrees would be ideal in the business .
