Requirement

• 5-10 Years Actual Trouble-shooting / Overhauling Experience Of Seamer/filler And Sterilization Equipment.
• Experience Of Sig, Zacmi, Fmc Filler Seamers, Can-o-mat.
• Bachelors In Engineering Or Technlogy

Skills Required

• Has Attended Mechanical Or Technical Course In Machine Assembly And Repair.
• Knows The Different Can Seam Defects And Causes
• Can Perform Can Seam Evaluation
• Has Basic Knowledge About Food And Thermal Processing.
• Sufficient Knowledge About Pumps (in Vacuum) And Plumbing For Steam, Air And Water Pipes

Job Description

1. Maintain performance of seamer/ filler at acceptable level.
• Implement regular lubrication schedule
• Maintain reasonable spare parts inventory
• Initiate orders for spare parts
• Regularly evaluate performance of machine.

2. Maintain preventive maintenance history of machine
• Record repairs and spare parts usages
• Regularly evaluate machine efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and good appearance
• Ensure that machine is being used properly

3. Perform overhauling as scheduled
• Order necessary parts for overhauling
• Dismantle major worn-out parts for replacement
• Evaluate parts for replacement
• Replace worn-out with new parts and assemble correctly according to manual.
• Test machine for correct operation.

4. Conduct day to day trouble-shooting of machine
• Regularly evaluate machine performance
• Implement timely corrective action on seam defects
• Perform regular evaluation of machine.

5. Is responsible to carry out any work that may be required from time to time.
