    Project Safety Officer (Project SAFO)

    Job Summary

    • The Project Safety Officer on an FPSO is responsible for ensuring the implementation, enforcement, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards during offshore operations. 
    • The role is critical in minimizing risks to personnel, the environment, and equipment during project activities, including construction, commissioning, maintenance, or decommissioning phases on the FPSO.

    Key Responsibilities

    General Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for all safety and environmental issues on-board
    • SAFO has ultimate authority, as delegated by OIM, to halt any maintenance job that breaches established safety limits, irrespective of if under PTW or routine procedure, and if permanent crew, Client or subcontractors involved.
    • Act as Assistant Mooring on-board export tankers.
    • May act as HLO as required.

    Special Responsibilities:

    • To be familiar with rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to the task to be executed.
    • Manage Permit to Work system on the unit
    • Monitors condition and ensures maintenance of all safety equipment
    • Organises and convenes safety meetings, safety committee meetings, accident prevention committee meetings and prepares minutes of meeting
    • Monitors waste and hazardous material management systems on-board
    • Manage oil and chemical spill clean-up equipment
    • Manage pollution response
    • Monitor all on-board equipment, systems and procedures to reduce risks for pollution
    • Manages on-board training system and safety drills, including debriefing
    • Manages safety reporting system on the unit
    • Monitor all gas and oxygen-measuring equipment is well maintained and calibrated as per manufactures instruction and that personal assigned to use the equipment are fully trained and supervised
    • Be familiar with H2S hazards and monitor H2S content
    • Upgrade safe work procedures on board as deemed necessary
    • Ensure that personnel executing hazardous work are trained and fully informed of the work procedures and/or quality plans and that they are complied with
    • Monitors crane operations
    • Delegated authority from OIM to ensure that only certified and tested cargo gears in best and approved working order are used for lifting and personnel transport.
    • Monitor that boat traffic and supply boat operations are well controlled, carried out efficiently and safely
    • Manage export hose connection/disconnection on export tanker
    • Manage Mooring Hawsers connection/disconnection on export tanker
    • Monitor crew lists, and other documentation related to FPSO people movement
    • Liaise with OIM regarding the unit’s security plan.

    Certificates Training:

    • Chief Mate Certificate – STCW95 Reg. II/2 and flag state endorsement of recognition. (The ideal candidate must have this certificate).

    Professional Qualifications

    • Meet requirements for certification as an officer in charge of a navigational watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more and have at least 12 months approved seagoing service in that capacity.
    • Have completed approved education and training and meet the standard of competence specified in section A-II/2 of the STCW code for chief mates on ships of 3000 gross tonnage or more.

    Instrument Technician (INST WHT)

    Job Summary

    • The responsibilities include the main General and Special responsibilities listed below. 
    • In addition the OIM or any superior may assign any other tasks to be performed.

    Key Responsibilities

    General Responsibilities:

    • To assist CNR (client) supervisors with Instrument/electrical maintenance related to WHT Platforms.
    • To assist Process Supervisor and MSUP with instrument/electric maintenance related to FPSO operation, when delegated to work on FPSO.
    • To carry out operations and maintenance duties safely and professionally in accordance to YINSON HSEQ system and CNR SHE.
    • Ensure that the platforms are operating in a safe condition and report any irregularities.
    • Planning and supervising of work performed by WHT Maintenance men.
    • Cooperate with WHT JTME
    • Keeps close cooperation with CNR (client) WHT Team Leader technical personnel
    • Maintain, repair, update and calibrate all instrument systems on Wellhead.
    • Take supportive role as backup personnel to ELIT and INST TECHNICIAN.

    Special Responsibilities:

    • Perform maintenance of platforms, especially: o Handling of AMOS computer system/reporting works/part of system related to WHT
    • Stock in/out inventory o Responsible for checking and recording of status on wellhead instrumentations. o Report to CNR Rep. Status of wellhead instrument equipment o Responsible for instrument maintenance and calibration. o Liaise with CNR Rep. For spare parts stock and necessary purchasing.
    • Assists ELIT and INST technicians when doing work on FPSO (utilities/production plants)
    • Executes the maintenance and operations tasks given by CNR WHT-TL or PSUP/MSUP
    • Perform the preparation, isolation @de-isolation of equipment during maintenance interventions.
    • Assists /or perform the shutdown and start-up of platforms equipment and relevant utilities.
    • Inspect the safety equipment and reports any anomaly.
    • Executes the required work according to issued work permits.
    • Assists any member of the ream in cases of necessity.
    • Ensure the work is performed in a safe condition and report hazardous conditions without delay to the responsible WHT CNR Supervisor.
    • Keep WHT team and their work environment safe and clean.
    • Familiar with the safety shut-down system and know the necessary actions to be taken in the event of alarms /shut-down situations i.e. PSD, ESD, fire and gas alarm.
    • Familiar with the PTW system. CNR and YINSON.
    • To be fully familiar with regulations and work procedures applicable to the task to be executed.
    • Maintaining good housekeeping.

    Professional Qualifications

    • AMOS Certificate
    • Very good knowledge of English written and spoken  Minimum 4 years of field/or production experience.
    • Previous experience as Electro Technical (electrician) Officer on-board tanker ships Production units is preferred or Automation Engineer with electrical education suitable for instrumentation systems. Must have experience from pneumatic field instrumentation. Good knowledge and understanding of Process/Field Logic control systems.

    Business Development Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM) is responsible for driving revenue growth, securing high value contracts, and managing key client relationships within the Nigerian oil and gas sector. 
    • This role translates commercial strategy into executable opportunities by building a strong pipeline of projects, leading client engagement, supporting tendering activities, and driving strategic partnerships.
    • Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), the SBDM plays a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market presence with International Oil Companies (IOCs), National Oil Companies (NOCs), Indigenous Oil Companies, regulators, and industry stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    Business Development & Market Expansion:

    • Develop and execute business development plans aligned with revenue and growth targets.
    • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.
    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and projects.

    Requirements

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or related field.

    Experience:

    • 8–12+ years’ experience in business development or commercial roles in the oil & gas servicing sector.
    • At least 4–6 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
    • Proven track record of winning high-value contracts in Nigeria.
    • Strong experience with tendering, proposal preparation, and client management.
    • Experience engaging IOCs, NOCs, and Indigenous companies.

    Knowledge and Proficiency in:

    • Nigerian oil and gas industry structure and procurement processes.
    • Local content regulations and regulatory frameworks.
    • Tendering, bid management, and contract negotiation.
    • Oilfield service lines such as engineering, procurement, marine logistics, fabrication, and maintenance.

    Sales Specialist

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for sales revenue growth, customer acquisition, Customer satisfaction and customer relationship management for the company by aiding sales activities.

    Key Responsibilities
    Main tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

    • Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with BD Manager to achieve revenue goals
    • Participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization
