Essential Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, you will:

• Perform customer order review and compare with the GE quote upon transfer of the project file from the Commercial group to Project management
• Lead the project kick-off meeting with all internal contributors and assign roles and responsibilities
• Lead the customer kick-off meeting to communicate the nature of the work that will be done and clarify any issues in the order
• Coordinate all activities related to the project
• Follow project spend vs budget (cost, materials, labor)
• Lead and draft project follow-up meeting summaries (internal and external)
• Follow-up on the project derogations
• Perform invoicing according to the contract terms
• Follow-up with GE procurement department on supplier deliveries
• Communicate and inform the customer of project progress on a regular basis
• Produce the project Post-Mortem analysis report
• Perform the administrative closing of the project
• Ensure that all test equipment’s are calibrated
• Organize logistic of tool/test equipment required at site for GE projects

Role Summary/Purpose

• As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing contracts starting from transfer meeting to managing the Quality, Cost, and Delivery of the entire execution process by ensuring on time delivery according to contractual terms, high level of customer satisfaction and controlling and improving the Gross Margin and cash related to contracts.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Education/Experience: Minimum Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience
• Electrical engineer with minimum 5 years’ experience in high voltage substation development and project delivery or equivalent knowledge or experience
• Preferred PMI member; Excellent Project Management credentials
• Specific Knowledge: Service Offering of HV/MV GE or comparable OEM products (PTR/CB/ITR/GIS/GCB/DSC)
• Able to work in Matrix Organization
• Strong Project Budget Management / Project Controlling experience
• Business understanding:
  • Knowledge of domestic and international energy markets
  • Understanding of Business Strategy
  • Strong understanding of Purchasing Processes
  • Track record of negotiating closure
  • Proven team player
• Excellent communicator, fluent in English
• IT/IS: strong command of MS Excel, MS Project and related PM tools
