    Area Sales Manager (Lagos/West) - Preform / Plastic Products

    Our client, a leading Manufacturing company, is currently recruiting an Area Sales Manager (Lagos/West) for its Plastic Products.

    Duties:

    • Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets.
    • Agree on and set targets for the Sales team
    • Provide leadership and enable the team to achieve its sales targets
    • Ensure the acquisition of new customers
    • Develop long-term business relationships with customers, vendors, etc.
    • Understand the product capability so as to be able to pitch same suitable to the needs and requirements of potential customers
    • Co-ordinate with the Product development & Production teams to develop sample and quotations
    • Monitor and drive the sales in the assigned territories/regions.

    Education / Experience / Skills & Competencies / Expertise / General Requirements:

    • BSc/HND in in any discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with certifications/qualifications in Sales & Marketing-related disciplines
    • +7 years of experience, preferably in a Plastics Manufacturing company
    • B2B and B2C sales experience
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Good communication & organizational skills
    • Strong presentation and persuasion skills
    • Good negotiation skills
