Operational Context:
The Senior Admin/Finance Assistant will provide administrative assistance to the Head of the Office to ensure that routine
services and activities within the administrative/finance domain are implemented.
The Senior Admin/Finance Assistant shall supervise all Admin staff within the field office including the Drivers, and cleaners as well as other adhoc staff within the office purview and premises. To this effect, the incumbent of this position will be required to have some managerial competencies such as Managing resources and managing performance. The incumbent functions under direct supervision of the Head of Field office while the Administrative/Finance Officer in the Maiduguri Sub-Office monitors the performance of the incumbent and provide regular guidance. S/he may liaise with local suppliers, banks and/or financial institutions on routine subject matters under the direction of the supervisor.

Interns who do not receive financial support from an outside party (i.e. government grants etc.) are entitled to a Food and Local Transportation Allowance (FTLA) which is equivalent of 10% of the Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA) of the duty station and be based on 30 calendar days.
