To provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. You will communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure the company’s technical are used appropriately.

Role Responsibility

Role and Task Complexities:

• Develop the technical services function's strategies including but not limited to; technical parts certification and costing, assessments and prequalification requirements in consonance with the COO
• Plan the implementation of repairs, management and maintenance of tractors, agricultural machines and implements  Plan maintenance schedule for tractors and other plants and machines
• Direct and manage the provision of engineering and technical services including but not limited to the deployment  and redeployment of technician and mechanics to various operation/co-location workshops
• Conduct  training and retraining of technical teams and annual performance appraisal
• to review employees’ work performance.
• Shall be in charge of all MECA plants and machines
• Advice on all technical matters regards plants and machines, processes, procedures and policies
• Determining technical specifications of equipments for the desired functions
• Head and direct workshop, technicians, operators, quality control, store operations and repair requirements
• Responsible for setting up of workshop and constituting technical team
• Writing of technical reports for all projects periodically.
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Technical Skills Requirement

• First degree in mechanical engineering or an engineering field
• 2-6 years relevant and related work experience
• Practical knowledge of machine and equipment repair

Knowledge and Competences

• Solid knowledge of machine repair procedures
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Sound knowledge of project management principles
• An ability to manage and enhance  business relationships
