Sourcing Officer - Raw Materials (Fruits) at Sabroso Food Company Limited

Job Description

• He or She will be responsible for coordinating the materials department, manage the efficient flow of our “fresh fruit” raw materials needed for our production processes.
• He or She will regularly meet with farmers across various regions in Nigeria, to secure the short & long term purchase of the fruits needed.
• Source and negotiate the best rates of fruits for the company on an ongoing basis
• Signup new farms and farmers on to the Sabroso farmers partnership agreement
• Coordinate the smooth logistics & delivery of fruits from the farm to the factory
• Travel frequently and work with local farms and farmers towards a mutually beneficial partnership
• Ensure procurement quality and costs KPIs are met always

Qualifications

• HND or B.Sc Degree
• Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing and related processes, including customer shipping requirements, production scheduling and raw materials.
• Previous experience in procurement
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Good computer skills and knowledge of the relevant software.
