Head of Accounts at Hamilton Lloyd and Associates

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Purpose

• The Head of Account oversees, supervises and manages all activities of the accounting and tax accounting departments and activities.

Accountabilities (Abridged)

• Supervises end-of-period processes and supports the analysis of the periodical business performance, budgets, and forecasts.
• Advise management on raising of required capital for financing new projects and monitoring of the disbursement of such funds.
• Manage all investments and relationships with all banks.
• Negotiate on major projects, loans and grants;
• Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers;
• Liaising with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context;
• Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal

Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics required
• A minimum of 7-10 years experience in Accounting, with later ears in managerial positions
• Chartered Accountant and relevant masters’ degree will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
