Job Description

• Looking for a Scrum Master with strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of the agile development process.
• We are building best in class Digital applications and API’s. As a Scrum Master you are expected to be a team facilitator and be responsible for bringing the team together to deliver.
• You should have an understanding or experience in React, Node.JS and other Javascript frameworks. You have a passion for creating the best user experience possible.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Technical team and the Product Owners in an Agile development process
• Enact Scrum values and practices
• Run interferences both within as well as across functional teams
• Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions
• Apply a strong understanding of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities
• Promote and participate in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, and tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value
• Organize and facilitate standups, release and sprint planning, reviews, demos and retrospectives
• Support efforts to code, design, and test in a heterogeneous technology environment e.g. JavaScript MVC, HTML, CSS, Java/ J2EE
• Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
• Engineer a world-class platform with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving
• Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit, integration, and regression capabilities
• Adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security policies
• Contribute and collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions, while working with existing JPMorgan technologies and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Demonstrated and extensive experience delivering technology solutions
• Excellent understanding of development concepts
• Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Understanding of object orientation and software design patterns
• Experience testing at the unit, integration and system levels
• Knowledge of at least one web application server such as Tomcat, .NET or similar
• Experienced leading teams of software engineers
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as a practicing Scrum Master
• Experience with other Agile/Lean practices such as XP or Kanban
• Participation in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development, Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery
