Job Description

• This position requires a License for operation of various pieces of equipment. Gravel truck, loader, backhoe, grader, and other assigned equipment or vehicles.
• This is a skilled position consisting of equipment operation, manual labor and maintenance repair of various pieces of light and heavy motorized equipment used in construction, maintenance, and other generalized work.
• Employee of this class must be able to correctly diagnose and make repairs on a variety of equipment. Employee must have the ability to operate the various pieces of equipment when required to assist various construction and maintenance projects.
• At various times, upon direction of, this position will include manual labor functions.

Job Requirements

• Must have good technical knowledge of construction industry technology: diagnostic, overhaul, adjustment, repair and maintenance of vehicles, light and heavy machinery/equipment for Construction Industry.
• Must be knowledgeable in codes, technical data, cataloging of tools and equipment for the purpose of placing orders/inspections.
• Must maintain service and repair records, purchases and inventories equipment parts, respond to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.
• Must ensure compliance with all legal safety regulations.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
