    FPSO Loading Master

    General Description

    • Responsible for crude oil transfers, settling operations, ballasting / de-ballasting, inert gas operation on FPSO
    • Responsible for offloading operations on the FPSO.
    • Manages Pump man and Deck Hands activities, during tank cleaning or other operations as directed by Marine Offshore Manager (including: tank preparation for IMR)
    • Provides assistance to the Pilot as required.
    • Deputise for the Pilot position, if and when required.(Back up Pilot)
    • Management of produced water on board in COT and both slops.

    Scope of Work:

    • Monitors the loading of produced crude oil and inert gas operations,
    • Controls produced crude oil distribution in tanks, includes loading plan and de-watering calculations and ensuring the
    • Export batch figures are matched up to.
    • Checks sediments and deposits in tanks and measurement equipment.
    • Calculation of Daily Cargo figures, Month end figures, Annual figures and management of report.
    • Manages planning for tank heating and Crude Oil Washing, Water Washing and Tank cleaning procedures.
    • Management of Shore cleaning team, Assistance to inspection team for IMR (Inspection Maintenance Repairs) purposes.
    • Inventory/ ordering and maintenance of tank cleaning Equipment as required.
    • Manages ballast transfer operations, records and stability including trim, heel, mooring loads and hull stresses of the FPSO,
    • Keeps proper records of all export tanker operations and offloading data during export,
    • Monitors and controls cargo and ballast tank displays and metering unit/ Proving when pumping is in progress,
    • Prepare and coordinates all operations related to tank inspection/maintenance, including IMR (Inspection
    • Maintenance Repairs) of Ballast Tanks, Cargo Tanks, Bilge Tanks, Bunker tanks, Void Space as scheduled.
    • Inspection of site vessels, when required,
    • Responsible of Management of Permits and adhering to the Permit to Work System
    • Has the authority to require specific actions to be carried out by the Operation or Production Supervisor with respect to FPSO stability, trim, heel or hull stress for the distribution of produced oil or ballasting operations
    • Assists with the volume calculations for the export batch,
    • Is the interface with Quantity Surveyors, Government Officials (DPR and NNPC)
    • Pilots the export tanker to/from mooring point (loading buoy or tandem position) if required.
    • Oil record book and ballast water records.

    Job Requirements

    • Unlimited master STCW 2010 Class 1 Certificate (Deck) with tanker advance training.
    • Bridge Resources Management Certificate or equivalent
    • A minimum of 10 years’ service on an oil tanker VLCC, FSO or FPSO with 2 years as master or chief officer.
    • OPITO FRC Coxswain Certificate or equivalent

    Pilot

    General description

    • Responsible for the tanker movements on site and the transfer operations of hydrocarbons to or from the FPSO and
    • To or from the export tanker or vessel (Pilot, Berthing Master & tanker Loading Master).
    • Deputise for the Marine Superintendent position when the Marine Superintendent is absent from the FPSO.

    Scope of work

    • Organises arrival/departure procedures for export tanker,
    • Pilots the export tanker to/from mooring point (loading buoy or tandem position),
    • In the event of an emergency, manages the off-load tanker securing or disconnection operations
    • Assists and provides marine advice when approaching and mooring the export tanker.
    • Inspects the export tanker, completes the HSE and Security check lists,
    • Inspection of site support vessels, when required,
    • Is authorised to stop or refuse berthing operations taking place,
    • Supervises tanker de-ballasting,
    • Is responsible for the application of HSE rules, international and National regulations codes and standards,
    • Ensure communication with FPSO are maintained during loading operation,
    • Checks volume calculations for exported batch,
    • Supervise the 1st Level corrective and preventive maintenance plan for all equipment associated with marine and logistic operations including Mooring equipment and tools, work boat, SBM equipment, tandem equipment
    • Responsible for spare part management of equipment associated with his duties.
    • Advisor to the COMPANY for the completion of cargo documents (BL, LOP, etc…)

    Job Requirements

    • Unlimited master STCW 95 Class 1 Certificate (Deck) with tanker advance training.

    Competent Person Lifting Operations (CPLO) - Expat

    Job Description
    HSE:

    • Participate in investigation or Cause Tree analysis for incidents and HIPO related to lifting and handling
    • Immediate intervention following any incident at request of work package manager / HSSE Manager .
    • Maintain DW’s Handling & Lifting HSE statistics, in coordination with HSE
    • Contribute from experience via REX+ and Safety Feedback Notice

    Handling/lifting:

    • Implementation of Company Rule CR-EP-HSE-043.
    • Promote safe handling & lifting operation referring to Total HSE policy and international standard
    • Review engineering calculation for complex & complicated lifts
    • Approve complicated and complex lifts plan and attend the lifts
    • Perform condition check and fitness for purpose on lifting appliances, CCUs, and evaluate their utilization on site (in coordination with Inspections Department).

    Reporting:

    • TDO/LSO/OPS shall be in copy of CPLO’s monthly report.

    Audit / Method:

    • Assess handling & lifting organization in affiliates.
    • Develop the Lifting supervisors functions on sites (Crane & Lifting Specialist) assisted by CLS .
    • Develop and maintain up to date subsidiary’s handling and lifting procedures/instructions and ensure they are well understood and applied.
    • Conduct annual reviews in handling and lifting.
    • Participate in all handling and lifting audits in affiliate. Highlight major findings and see that audit findings are addressed accordingly.

    Costs Control and Budgeting:

    • Review current selection of lifting equipment and standard maintenance with regards to cost effectiveness

    Management:

    • Assess competences and provide proposal of improvement for personnel involved in handling and lifting operations
    • Participate in the development of training plan for users up to required competence in cooperation with HQ (TDO/LSO/OPS).
    • Ensure coaching and mentoring for personnel involved in handling and lifting operations on site.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum 10 years in the lifting & handling operations on supervision level
    • Broad and good knowledge in handling and lifting appliances & operations
    • Working to international standards such as: UKOOA, BS, LOLER, NORSOK etc
    • Having experience in Oil & Gas industry

    ROV Specialist

    TA (Technical Authority) Duties DW-ROV Specialist

    • Establish policies, strategies and technical expertise related ROV activity for DW District.
    • Ensure safe and consistent application of CLIENT’s referential documents, codes, standards and good engineering practice.

    Scope
    Position Requires:

    • Ability to manage the interface with major ROV Contractors, from different cultures.
    • Supervision of ROV personnel onshore and offshore.
    • Extensive technical knowledge of ROV’s, equipment and practices to reinforce Management position with ROV Contractors , especially in technically innovative fields.
    • Proactive attitude and preparedness to work with all entities within the Affiliate.
    • Good communication skills in order to interact with affiliate entities as well as other affiliates or partners and local authorities.
    • Good working knowledge of ROV equipment, technology or techniques for deep water ROV operations, interfacing with other oilfield equipment, Research and Development.

    Activities:

    • Schedule, plan, prepare, manage and supervise ROV operations and liaising with Line Management and Client Departments as necessary.
    • Manage all existing ROV-related Contracts established with the Companies, including the follow-up of budget and approval of invoices, in coordination with Contracts and Cost Control departments. Evaluate existing contracts in order to propose possible improvements at contracts renewal. In particular:
      • Manage the existing contract for the provision of ROVs, personnel and associated s (review and approval of procedures, manning, invoices, claims, etc.)
      • Manage the existing contracts with respect to tooling.
      • Manage the ROV tools owned or rented by DW (inventory, maintenance, renewal of tools, etc.)
      • Participate in the Call for Tender process, technical evaluation and selection of ROV contractors.
      • Participation in ROV budget preparation when required
    • Ensure the implementation by Contractors of the affiliate HSE policies through the application of the HSE bridging document and other documents as applicable.
    • Report to management on possible changes in contractual strategy and anticipate I evaluate the needs in order to meet future requirements.
    • Organize and prepare ROV intervention operations in coordination with project engineers, vessels superintendents, drilling and exploitation entities. Review all procedures related to ROV operations, including but not limited to installation and maintenance procedures.
    • Optimize the ROV operations and evaluate their performance. Maintain internal statistics of ROV and tooling performance.
    • Control and approve testing and reception procedures for ROV's and associated tooling or equipment during mobilisation or arrival of new equipment as required.
    • Assist with the organization and preparation of ROV intervention operations in coordination with project engineers, vessels superintendents, drilling and exploitation entities. Review all procedures related to ROV operations, including but not limited to installation and maintenance procedures.
    • Assist with the maintenance of internal statistics for ROV and tooling performance.
    • Provide technical support and advice to other TUCN entities for the implementation of ROV interventions.
    • Daily follow-up of all ROV activities within Deep Water, in close coordination with ROV contracted personnel and COMPANY representatives onboard the vessels, offshore installations and drilling rigs.
    • Participate in the review and testing of ROV systems, tools and equipment required for ROV activities related to Deep Water operations.
    • Maintaining an up to date database of the number, operational condition and position of all Deep Water ROV tools and assets.
    • Maintaining up to date records of the Deep Water video library in accordance with Deep Water procedures.
    • Assist Tie-ins and Christmas Tree on Wire installations.
    • Provide technical feedback to Headquarters for new or innovative ROV techniques that could be shared with other Total Affiliates.

    • Knowledge of ROV tooling, Tie-ins, TOW, technical specifications and procedures, contract awareness,
    • Experience with ROV tooling development.

    Offshore Marine Superintendent


    Job Description

    • The Marine Superintendent provides expertise in the specialist field of marine engineering and operations to support Deepwater District marine activity as required by directives EP19, DGEP General Policy for Marine Operations, CR LSO 200 and Marine Operations Standards.
    • Technical assistance:
      • Schedule, plan, prepare, manage and supervise various offshore marine operations, and provide Company Marine Representation for marine engineering related equipment; liaising with Line Management and Client Departments as necessary. Advise Offshore Installation Managers for the Marines Operations (loading & unloading cargoes, transfer of pax...)
      • Provide Marine expertise to all departments offshore (Drilling, Projects and Production) concerning marine related activities
      • Monitor the operation of all Deepwater vessels.
    • Ensure all operations under Service holder’s supervision are conducted safely and within agreed SLA's.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to the Manager of Deepwater Marine regarding Marine Operations and Vessels’ status.
    • Method
    • Ensure the implementation and application of the COMPANY Marine procedures (guidelines on approach to Offshore installations, etc.), CMS and COMPANY HSE rules by Contractors
    • Assist with the development and propose revision of marine procedures in compliance with the Company CMS
    • Monitor and propose corrective actions to Marine related anomaly reports and vessels action trackers
    • Continually monitor the fast crew boat activities with referent Captains of the contractors.
    • Assist contractor Marine operations, procedure analysis and follow up of their application on site
    • Inspections/audit/condition:
      • Conduct OVID inspections for COMPANY.
      • Conduct and/or organise Entry Permit
      • DP:
        • Ensure Dynamic Positioning follow-up as well as DP audits for the Fleet of COMPANY.
        • TAMO CAMO for all DP vessels
        • DP annual trials
      • Assist with all marine auditing requirements, which includes auditing of a wide range of offshore vessels, such as MODU’s and DSV and other specialist vessels, and contractors’ management systems, ensuring full compliance with Company CMS
      • Inspect on Quarterly basis the boat landings and issue a comprehensive report regarding their conditions.
      • Conduct inspection of potential and contracted vessels and assessment of the crew
      • Provide feedback for Marine Contract Service Quality Meetings.

    Qualifications / Experience Required

    • 10 years experience as Chief Officer and Captain on Offshore Vessels (AHTS, PSV, IMR) with Full DPO Certificate
    • Hold valid OVID inspector accreditation
    • Experience in organisation, planning of personnel transport & logistics
    • Proven record of achievement within marine operations.
    • Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English.
