Role Profile

Summary of Role

• Cold calling potential customers
• Carry out research for target market and find viable companies to target
• Attend meetings with potential customers and close sales transactions.
• Establish a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.
• Work to achieve monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the Head of Sales
• Entering all required data for sales into the company system.
• Manage all customer information and sales history.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Desk in managing information and communication with customers.
• Investigate and collaborate with the Production Managers in resolving any queries from customers.
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs for optimal customer satisfaction
• Prepare accurate and timely reporting reports

Educational and Professional Qualifications

• Degree in Social Sciences/related discipline
• 3-5 years cognate work experience with proven track records of achievement in Sales & Marketing

Educational and Professional Qualification

• Academic degree in Printing
• Degree in Engineering / Sciences or related field
• MBA is an added advantage
• Possess other relevant professional affiliations and certifications
• 7+ years’ experience with proven work experience   We are looking to hire seasoned Head of Production Operations responsible for managing the total production line in our Printing Press in achieving continuous improvement and optimization of all processes for increased customer satisfaction and business profitability.

Summary Key Deliverables:

• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day production operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
• Maintaining accurate data related to production.
• Effective manpower planning and shift optimization
• Effective waste control of materials and time
• Responsible for the technical management, supervision and control of production processes.
• Be responsible for production output, product quality and cost effective management of day to day operations
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met
• Plan, schedule, re-negotiate schedules as necessary ensuring customers’ expectations are exceeded
• Organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
• Stay up to update on print trends/new technology and see to staff development through organized trainings.
• Provide leadership, direction and coordination of the team to ensure people development for optimal productivity
• Create efficiencies and production workflows to accommodate a fast paced, growing workload. 

Skill Required

• Practical knowledge of use of Heidelberg CD, and SM machine series 
• Proven managerial experience
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
• Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation and inventory
• Business and financial acumen ï‚· Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills

HND PRINTING or degree in relevant discipline with background in graphic design or printing technology and hands-on experience working with printing equipment. .

five to seven years cognate work experience with at least 2yrs  in a large scale commercial printing organization at a senior level

Summary of Role

• Preflighting – preparing of files for job planning
• Platemaking, inventory management and control of supplies and materials such as films, inks, alcohols, plates etc
• Responsible for examining and ensuring conformity to job specifications and company standards.
• Will also oversee maintenance and repair of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshooting prepress problems or addressing management or customer concerns
• Managing shift Activities of Pre press operations.
• Generate Weekly & Monthly report

Skill Required

• Proficiency in use of Corel Draw, Adobe, Quark, Photoshop, Indesign, Pit shop , Prinect Imposing software (from Heidelberg)
•  Knowledge of process chemistry of Developing  plates, Operating of Heidelberg CTP machine and Processers
• Graphic communications, , commercial printing processes, math, lithography, and safety procedures.
• Effective communication skills for taking orders and responding to orders of internal and external customers
• Good sight and attention to detail for colour and text proofing
• Ability to work under pressure without making errors
•  Work under minimal supervision
