We are looking for a qualified responsible and competent site Engineer with a vast experience in highway and bridge engineering to join our Engineering team at our Lafia site. This role will be based in Lafia.

What you will do?

Your responsibilities will include Negotiation and coordinating with clientsconsultantsgovernmental agencies; project scheduling; submitting reports such as project schedule reports and quality reports; writing  and replying formal letters to client and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating and Coordinating with Clients/Consultants/Governmental Agencies on behalf of the company
• Project Schedule reports
• Quality Reports to relevant Governmental agencies as well as company management
• Act as a liason between Govt. and company
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled project reports
• Writing and replying formal letters to clients and consultants
• Maintain good relationship with clients and agencies
• Work as part of a team to source for high yielding and profitable projects to be executed by the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree Master Degree preferred
• Engineering Related
• 5 years working experience in engineering field
• Major in Highway and bridge engineering
• Professional and neat Appearance  
• Clear and fluent in English without any accent
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Previous work experience in Chinese company preferred
• Age:30 and above
• Sex: Male

Responsibilities

• Assist the market team in business development
• Source for useful and meaningful engineering projects
• Process relevant technical documents

• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled project reports

• Attend meetings on behalf of the company regarding identified meaningful projects
• Maintain cordial and working relationship with the relevant authorities
