As the Gaming & User Content Research Intern, you will focus on understanding how gaming controllers can be best leveraged and used on different games while fitting different users' playstyles while supporting the Product Marketing team with comprehensive content - game guides, written reports, in-game screenshots, videos, etc. - that demonstrate the added value of key features on those games.

Responsibilities include:

• Play a large portfolio of different gender games on different systems to include PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC to learn games' specificities, adapt to different playstyles, become proficient and skilled in those games, and understand how end-users are gaming.
• Record video in-game content that can be analyzed for research or/and marketing purposes.
• Engage with other gamers internally and externally to understand their playstyle and how they hold and interact with gaming controllers and other input devices to identify how they can improve their game.
• Search and leverage platforms such as gaming forum, video content, live streams, and social media to further understand gamers’ play style per game.
• Provide weekly feedback and detailed reports to the product marketing team on gameplay experiences and how they relate to the use of our Client’scontrollers and interact with the Marketing and User Research teams in one-on-one and group discussion settings.
• May also help in some instances with QA, testing, and research at the Product Marketing Manager’s request.
• Organizing game developers classes

Requirements

• Able to play games for long periods of time without becoming bored or losing focus
• Able to follow directions and instructions from management regarding game content and feedback focus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of current games and gaming consoles and rudimentary knowledge of gaming technology
• Proficiency with gaming controllers, preferably professional gaming controllers with back functions
• Actively playing current-generation video games on console (e.g. Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch) and/or PC
• Experience in QA is a plus
• Experience in streaming and recording video game content and video editing is a plus
• Passionate about the product and eSports/gaming
• Trust-worthy
• Ability to take initiative
• Appreciation for quality
• Ability to follow through and work in a fast-paced environment

We are looking for a passionate Game Development Program Social Engagement Specialist with a real passion for social engagement; a drive for game development and understanding of digital commerce. This is your opportunity to help influence and establish a voice for game dev team with our Client through planning, content creation and performance monitoring. If that's not enough for you. You will also influence and make concrete recommendations to improve end user gaming engagements and experiences through site updates/upgrades on stakeholders' websites.
In this role, use your independence, creative thinking, problem solving skills and collaborative strengths to support and work with marketing managers, social and engagement managers and product managers to identify, validate, recommend and put into action established plans and your recommendations for our Client’s variety of Games.
Get ready to execute a plan to use our client’s various websites, social media tools & Game Dev social channels as well as targeted social accounts to tell the game dev story and take engagement to the next level through social activities, research and software innovation from our community.

• Creating new business opportunities

• Coordinate with marketing and website owners to build gaming end-user landing pages.

•  Marketing role like digital, campaign management, social media, PR, communications, etc.
